Dr. J. Jasmine Hephzipah is a Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (Advanced Communication Technology) at R.M.K. Engineering College, with around 19 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She completed her Ph.D. in 2021.

Her areas of expertise include Wireless Communication, 5G and Advanced Communication Technologies, Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT, Antenna and Wave Propagation, and Network Security. She has published more than 50 research papers in reputed international journals and has more than 10 patents to her credit.

She is actively involved in curriculum development, research and innovation, industry–academia collaboration, faculty development, student mentoring, and academic leadership. She is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), a Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), and a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

She is committed to promoting student-centric learning, emerging technologies, research, innovation, and industry-oriented education, with a focus on developing technically competent and industry-ready graduates.
