Dr. K. Chidambarathanu M.E., Ph.D., is Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems at R.M.K. Engineering College. He is working in R.M.K Engineering College, since June 2003. He has more than 24 years of experience in teaching and more than 10 years in research. He has obtained his B.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) from Madurai Kamaraj University, M.E. (Computer Science and Engineering) from Anna University, Chennai and Doctoral degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. His area of interest includes Data Analytics, Web Programming and IoT. He has published 20+ papers in reputed journals and presented more than 10 papers in scopus indexed conferences. He has received funds from MSME as project mentor and from AICTE for organizing STTP. He has organized 7 workshops and FDPs. He has received Best Faculty Award from Cognizant and Virtusa. He is also a Wipro Certified Faculty in J2EE domain. He has attended many workshops and FDPs sponsored by AICTE and Anna University. He was also shortlisted as a AICTE LITE Faculty Cordinator – LITE faculty coordinators are AICTE’s brand ambassadors of change to implement transformational goals of National Educational Policy 2020. He is the mentor of winning teams in Smart Indian Hackathon 2018 and 2019. He has also cleared National Programming Aptitude test with a score of 100% and 94th percentile conducted by NPTEL in association with ACM. He has received gold medal in Hackerranks Java and C++ domain and silver medal in problem solving domain and 30 days code challenge. He was ranked top 5% in LinkedIn C assessment and top 15% in Java assessment.
