Dr. Ashok Kumar Katta is an accomplished Academician, Researcher, and Academic administrator with more than 19 years of experience in Teaching and Institutional leadership in higher education. He currently serves as the Professor and Head of the MBA Department at R.M.K. Engineering College. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies and has also completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF-Certificate) in the field of Management.
Dr. Katta has made significant contributions to research and innovation, with 23 patents (Indian and UK) and 2 Canada copyrights to his credit. He has successfully guided 7 Ph.D. scholars and actively serves as a Research supervisor, Thesis evaluator, and Editorial board member of reputed international journals. His research interests include Financial Markets, Banking and Insurance, Organisational Behaviour, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Emerging Technologies.
A passionate lifelong learner, he has completed more than 20 international certification courses from globally reputed institutions such as University of Michigan, Deakin University, Griffith University, Monash University, King’s College London, Coventry University, Globsyn Business School, and HubSpot Academy, along with programs offered through NPTEL–AICTE.
He has authored more than 120+ Research Papers, Published 7 books, and presented papers in several National and International Conferences. His academic excellence has been recognized with multiple Best Faculty and Outstanding Researcher awards.
Dr. Ashok Kumar Katta has actively participated in many academic activities at national and international levels. He has presented 26 papers in national conferences and 13 papers in international conferences. He has attended 37 webinars, 19 online FDPs, 8 Regular FDPs, 9 Workshops, and 10 online workshops. He has edited one book and organized three academic events. He received a Best Paper Award during 2013–2014 and currently has one paper under review.
He completed a 14-day and a 3-day Faculty Development Program sponsored by AICTE, and a 5-day STTP sponsored by NITTTR. In research publications, he has published 5 international and 16 National edited books with ISBN, along with 84 International and 16 National journal publications (ISSN). His research papers are indexed in databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, ABDC, and UGC CARE.
