Dr. T. Sethukarasi, B.E., M.E., M.S., Ph.D., is an academician with 30 years of experience and currently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at R.M.K. Engineering College. She received her doctorate in 2013 from the Faculty of Information & Communication Engineering, Anna University, Chennai. She has been with R.M.K. since 2003. She has more than 14 years of research experience in Machine Learning, Data Mining, Soft Computing and digital innovations with a specific focus on Design thinking and critical problem-solving. She is a recognized research supervisor at Anna University; She has produced 11 doctorates and currently guiding 8 Ph.D. scholars.

She has published over 100+ research refereed papers and Scopus Indexed in refereed international/national journals; has been a key investigator of several sponsored research projects; and published 3 books. Organized over 5 conferences, 30+ seminars and workshops in collaboration with many industries and top universities. She has conducted a large number of Student Development Programmes. She is a Wipro Certified Faculty and is recognized as a mentor for Project-Based Learning (PBL) in J2EE. She is a member of a number of professional bodies including Computer Society of India, Indian Society for Technical Education, Institution of Engineers (India) IAENG, IACSIT and IEEE. She has delivered many invited/key notes talks at International & National Conferences/ Workshops/Seminars and faculty development programs.
