As per para 6(c) of the AICTE Regulations 2009, AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2022-23 an Anti-Ragging Squad is constituted.
- The Squad shall remain alert, mobile and active at all times
- The Squad shall make surprise visit to hostels and other places vulnerable to incidents and having the potential for ragging.
- The Squad shall conduct an on-the-spot enquiry into any incidents of ragging referred to it.
- The Anti-Ragging Squad shall conduct such enquiry observing a fair and transparent procedure.
- The Principles of Natural justice should be strictly followed and adequate opportunity to be given to all concerned to submit the facts, documents etc.
The Squad shall submit its findings to the Anti-Ragging Committee for taking final decision.
