Asokkumar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">B.E., M.Tech., M.B.A., M.Phil., Ph.D.,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Professor &amp; Head, Department of Management Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. S. Asokkumar is an accomplished academician, researcher, administrator, and entrepreneurship mentor with over <strong>30 years of professional experience<\/strong>, including <strong>22 years in higher education<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>8 years in the software industry<\/strong>. He is currently serving as <strong>Professor and Head, Department of Management Studies at R.M.K. Engineering College (Autonomous), Chennai<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He holds a <strong>Ph.D. in Human Resource Management<\/strong>, an <strong>MBA (HRM)<\/strong>, an M.Tech. in Information Technology, a <strong>B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering<\/strong>, and a Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, enabling him to integrate management, information technology, artificial intelligence, and data analytics into teaching and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a recognized research supervisor under Anna University, Dr. Asokkumar has successfully guided <strong>6 Ph.D. scholars<\/strong>, is currently supervising <strong>4 doctoral researchers<\/strong>, and has mentored more than <strong>550 MBA<\/strong>&nbsp;and <strong>22 M.Phil.<\/strong>&nbsp;students. He has also served as an External Examiner for several Ph.D. viva voce examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His research interests include <strong>Human Resource Management, Artificial Intelligence Applications, Data Mining, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Healthcare Analytics, and Digital Transformation<\/strong>. He has published <strong>20+ research papers<\/strong>&nbsp;in reputed <strong>Scopus, UGC-CARE, and peer-reviewed journals<\/strong>, authored <strong>two books<\/strong>, and contributed as a <strong>Guest Editor<\/strong>&nbsp;for leading management journals. He has also published patents through the <strong>AICTE KAPILA Scheme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Asokkumar has demonstrated outstanding academic leadership by serving as <strong>Chairman of the Board of Studies<\/strong>, <strong>Head of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)<\/strong>, Placement Training Coordinator, and Convener\/Organizing Secretary for <strong>six International Conferences<\/strong>. Under his leadership, the EDC trained <strong>170 student entrepreneurs<\/strong>, with <strong>30 students successfully launching startups<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Internationally, he has served as a <strong>Scientific Committee Member<\/strong>&nbsp;for the Brand Strategy Conferences held in <strong>Tehran, Iran<\/strong>, contributed to the <strong>VCIRS International Conference in Sri Lanka<\/strong>, and currently serves as an <strong>Academic Resource Person at the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka<\/strong>. His consultancy expertise has also resulted in successfully executing industry consultancy assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His academic excellence has been recognized through the prestigious <strong>&#8220;Noble Researcher Award \u2013 2018&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp;by IJRULA International, Malaysia.
